Welcome to the Construction Zone!

I wanted to share how HYBYCOZO | COZO Design came to start building sacred geometric structures, art, and design. Although both Serge and I have been attending Burning Man for many years, it was not until my former roommate Steve Weisz gave us each a sacred geometry pendant - a flower of life and a sri yantra - at the temple did we really feel the pull of these ancient forms.

After we returned, we started reading, exploring, and drawing. We watched a couple of videos online that were particularly influential, so I wanted to share these with you now.

The first, by the awesome channel, Spirit Science, talks about the structure of the universe, how we belong in it as energetic beings.

Ultimately that video led us to Garret Lisi's Ted talk called "An Incredibly Simple Explanation for Everything." The thing that resonated to us the most about it was how intuitive it felt that the structure of the universe must be very beautiful and how on some level, we had already been drawn to these exact forms.

 After that, we became fascinated with Buckminster Fuller and his geometric explorations. Here is a great video of some of the forms he studied.

 Ultimately, at the Lightning in a Bottle Festival in May of 2014 our ideas coalesced into the possibility that we could integrate all of this amazing geometric knowledge we had received and share it with the community. The geometry in it of itself felt like it made it possible.
